Vincent Altomari a former New Yorker having attended The School of Visual Arts (NYC) and School of Aviation in Queens NY, worked for United Airlines and Federal Express in several different capacities. Vincent’s home in Mt. Vernon NY, was in a constant state of renovation, where he and his dad took on projects in his family home and other Westchester NY, Connecticut and Rhode Island locations.
Vincent volunteered for the US Navy, where he became a combat solider and was decorated on more than one occasion. Vincent also renovated his military post’s office, and also built a reflecting pond for the local children to enjoy.
In 1980, he relocated to San Francisco where he started a family. Having attended Berkeley for two years studying Architecture and Fine Arts at City College, Vincent started buying, renovating and selling homes in San Francisco and Palm Springs Ca. Vincent has thirteen homes/flats renovations bought and sold, and is currently working on an Eichler home (number fourteen) in Concord Ca. Vincent also worked as a building engineer at UCSF Gladstone for a 5 year period, and owned a 3-man construction company, building and preparing client homes for sale in San Francisco and East Bay locations.
Vincent’s career with the airline, has taken him to Hong Kong, Xiamen and Beijing China, where his responsibilities included aircraft interior reconfiguration.
Having lived in San Francisco and the Peninsula, Vincent has a great understanding of Bay Area real estate, construction and interior design. Most of all, Vincent understands the reality of families in the Bay Area taking the important and difficult step of home ownership at any price level.
